Yoga is the experience of complete peace of mind and self-knowledge. It trains the mind to concentrate and perceive the subtle realities of life. Initially these preachings were done in Ashrams caves etc. where a yogi taught his students. Later on yoga spread among common people all over India. Yoga is a philosophy based on certain psychological facts and its aim is the development of a perfect balance between body and mind and the soul that allows the union with the divine.
